Booking Terms & Conditions

Please take the time to read this VERY IMPORTANT information.

  •  A deposit of R12000.00 is required in order to reserve the date for you. Please note that the deposit must be paid within 7 days of making the booking. If the deposit is not received the booking will be released without any further correspondence.   • YOUR BOOKING WILL ONLY BE CONFIRMED ONCE THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. No deposit refunds will be given for golf days booked in May, September, October and November. Full deposit will be returned if cancellation is done 60 days in advance for other calendar months. During the months of September, October and November, group bookings have to be a minimum of 80 players for the weekdays.
  • Should a golf day need to be rescheduled or postponed and notice is given in less than 60 days, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required for rescheduling of the golf day.
  • Clients are not permitted to bring ANY food or drinks onto the golf course or club house, unless a corkage fee of R4000.00 is paid. If you do bring in your own drinks please note that you must provide your own tables, chairs, umbrellas, ice, cooler boxes, etc
  • Only SOFT SPIKE golf shoes are permitted - NO 'TAKKIES'
  •  No vehicles are permitted to drive/park on the golf course! Contact the Events Manager to discuss where vehicles can park.
  •  Final numbers must be confirmed 7 DAYS PRIOR to golf day.
  •  We need your alphabetical guest list (to ensure easy access at security) TWO DAYS prior to your golf day. Please include the names of any people who will be assisting as well as attending the prize-giving on the day.
  •  For security reasons we only have 30 caddies. If more caddies are required please pre book well in advance and all caddies ordered must be paid for.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DRESS CODE
Please be aware of the Dress regulations at Centurion Country Club:

  • No Jeans
  • Trousers with zips - no draw string pants
  • Short socks predominantly white may be worn - no secret socks
  • Recognized golf shirts with collars only
  • Golf Shoes only - soft spikes
  • NO 'TAKKIES' are permitted!!


SOFTSPIKES:
Please note that soft spikes are compulsory at Centurion Country Club. Please would you inform your guests / clients, in order to avoid any embarrassment on the day.
No takkies allowed. Dress regulations in the clubhouse are smart casual. Please note that children are required to be neatly dressed and under control of an adult whilst in the clubhouse.

ADVERTISING ON THE COURSE:
The placement of advertising branding is permitted on the golf course and around the clubhouse. No vehicles may drive on the golf course - tarred roads must be used and display cars may not be parked within 2 meters of any tee. Please consult the Director of Golf with regards to vehicle promotions. You are required to bring along any furniture that you may need, such as tables, chairs, umbrellas, tablecloths, cooler boxes.

LIQUOR PROMOTION:
Refreshments as well as any liquor required for sponsored holes must be purchased from the golf club in terms of the Liquor Act. Liquor promotions are preferred in the bar at prize giving and not on the course during play. You should also bring along your own staff to assist with the set-up and breakdown of your on-course signage.

CONFIRMATION:
Please note that your final number of golfers as well as the final number of guests for the halfway house as well as the evening function must be confirmed 7 days prior to your golf day. If not confirmed you will be billed for the number of golfers and guests initially discussed.

CADDIES/CARTS
Caddie and cart bookings must also be confirmed 7 days prior to your golf day. If not confirmed you will be billed for the number of bookings initially discussed. Take note that the caddies must be paid in cash on the day. You are requested to have the exact amount of cash available for payment after completion of play.

ACCOUNTING:
One invoice will be raised to your company for the total costs relating to your golf day. Payment must please be finalized 3 days prior to your event.

LOCAL RULES

1. OUT OF BOUNDS
a) All estate boundary fences / walls
b) Beyond all white stakes
c) The white stakes on the left of the 4th hole indicate out of bounds on the 4th hole only

2. WATER HAZARDS
a) Lateral water hazards are water or portions thereof which are demarcated by red stakes
b) All other water hazards on the course demarcated by yellow stakes

DROP ZONE
a) 8th hole - In front of 8th ladies tee
b) 9th hole - On front of 9th tee

3. TREES
A ball may be dropped away from all young trees which have a white tag
attached - no penalty

4. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS
a) Paved or cemented pathways
b) Bridges

5. WASTE BUNKERS
The sandy area with plants, vegetation and rocks at Hole 11 is a waste bunker and players may ground their clubs without penalty. Loose impediments may also be removed without penalty.

NOTE: A ball coming to rest in private property is deemed to be a lost ball. You may not retrieve it. Please respect our Residents' Privacy.

All distance markers on the Fairways are measured to the front of the greens.
